IT Hardware Support Consultant

The candidate should be able to perform the following duties:

• Assess existing IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and software.
• Assess client hardware needs and provide recommendations for hardware upgrades, replacements, or new installations.
• Design and implement hardware solutions, including servers, storage, networking, and endpoint devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and best practices, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on IT solutions and best practices.
• Generate leads and identify new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship building.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.
