Procurement & Pricing Specialist - Base Oils, Lubricants, Petroleum

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Procurement & Pricing Specialist to manage supplier sourcing, cost negotiations, and pricing strategies. This role is critical in ensuring competitive pricing, healthy margins, and timely procurement aligned with sales and market demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Source and negotiate with suppliers for petrochemical products (bitumen, base oils, lubricants, etc.).
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and commercial terms.
• 
  Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and compliance with agreed terms.

Pricing & Commercial Analysis

• Develop pricing structures based on market trends, costs, freight, and margins.
• Prepare pricing calculations, sales quotations, and margin analysis for management approval.
• Monitor global market prices, competitor pricing, and freight fluctuations.
• Support the sales team with accurate and competitive pricing models.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare procurement and pricing reports for management review.
• Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to align procurement and pricing strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 36 years of experience in procurement, pricing, or commercial roles (petrochemical or commodity trading preferred).
• Strong understanding of cost structures, margins, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
