Responsibilities

• Lead Architect in building data solutions for complex business problems in Azure
• Lead, guide and Contribute independently to implement & deliver complex End to End project assignments simultaneously and support live applications
• Able to work as an independent contributor in building end to end implementation of Data solutions
• Provide best fit architectural solutions and Provide technology consultation for one or more projects.
• Participate in competency development to ensure the best-fit and high-quality technical solutions.
• Should be a key contributor in creating thought leadership within the area of technical specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Philips
• Create connects with supported business to understand and solve business challenges as well as to increase business penetration
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions meeting data warehousing design standards.
• Strong understanding of analytics needs and proactive-ness to build generic solutions to improve the efficiency
• Review, enhance, design and develop ELT processes using Azure Data Factory & Azure Databricks
• Should support the Production live application by maintaining 100% Data accuracy and data availability in all 24*7.
• Experience with operational support and Governance
• Working closely with Business Stakeholders, Technology Stakeholders, IT Teams and Advanced Analytics experts
• Supporting Data Scientist with some background of ML with data skills
• Supporting Data Visualization team with some background of Qlik view/Power BI/Tableau reports with data skills
• Be a champion of Standard software practices, high- & low-level architecture
• Confidence training and guiding colleagues through complex technical challenges and best practice
• 
  Offer support by responding to system problems on time.
  

Technical Knowledge And Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure functions, Logic aps, Synapse, ADLS, Azure SQL server, Scala/Spark/SQL/PYTHON etc.
• Azure Database development experience with Azure CI/CD, Azure Classic Pipelines, Azure YAML, ARM/ Terraforms/Ansible, AKS Maintenance, Azure ML, Pipeline integrations, Azure PaaS and IaaS, Azure Infra Experience (Spinning VMs, Databases and Cosmos)
• Working in the big data environment, on-prem, cloud, SPARK and Real-time data processing
• Expertise in Data warehousing - data modelling, relational and Dimension modelling, Data quality, data catalogue and ETL/ELT concepts
• In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Design and build highly scalable data pipelines using new generation tools and technologies like Spark, Kafka to induct data from various systems
• Experience with data security and data access controls and design
• Deep understanding of relational as well as NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches (star and snowflake, dimensional modelling)
• Ensure proper requirement traceability and Quality delivery during development and integration testing
• Programming experience in building high-quality applications, data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs, Expertise in performance tuning of SQLs. Experience with data science and machine learning tools and technologies is a plus
• Utilize best practices of Software development Lifecycle both in the agile and traditional waterfall model
• Experience in handling/migrating SAP source data in Datawarehouse is a plus

• Minimum of 7+ years of increasingly responsible experience in high impactful and changing environments
• 2+ years of working experience in Azure as Solution/Data Architect
• 3 +years of hands-on experience with one or more cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, Google.
• Experience in managing a high-profile team of Data Engineers, data scientists, Business Analytics, Production support teams and Data Analysts
• Knowledge of Software development methodologies. Have worked in Scrum teams
• Excellent communication & presentation skills with a track record of engaging with senior business leaders
• Previous experience in Supply chain would be a distinct advantage
• Should have worked in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
• High affinity with AI-powered insight tools and engines and application of real-time solutions to analytics problems
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Should be self-driven, highly motivated and able to learn quick
  

Academics

• Masters degree/BE/BTech from a good institute in a quantitative discipline
• Strong exposure to Databases and data structures of cloud-based technologies
• AWS/Azure Solution Architect certification/Azure Data Engineer certification is plus
