Your responsibilities
The tasks of the System Engineer are as follows:

• Develops and implements IT platforms (HW/SW)
• Assesses IT products & services during development
• Develops and tests IT platforms components like OS, Storage, Compute, Networking, virtualization
• Understands cloud concepts and is able to consider hybrid cloud related aspects in IT platform engieering
• Keeps track of relevant IT platform updates and developments (public and with partners).
• Performs IT platform testing for application performance and IT platform operations
• Is able to document and communicate IT platform specifications and features
  
• Teams up with IT Platform architect and Software architects
• Takes ownership of IT platform issues that require solutions from development
• Experience in Setting up and maintaining a data center experience is required
• Devops experience will be an advantage
  

Educational And Experience Requirements

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Sciences or similar technical background
• 7 to 10 years experienced as IT system engineer
• Deep understanding of IT Infrastructure like servers, storage, virtualization, networking
• Capable of owning and maintaining system configurations, scripts, documentation and deployment tools
• Experience in implementing IT systems in healthcare industry is a plus
• Supportive attitude towards 3rd line service teams with in-depth system knowledge and fixes

How We Work Together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the companys facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities, generally at the customers or suppliers locations.
