The Opportunity:
We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Director - Creative and Content to be a part of our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Group CMO, this role offers you the opportunity to establish, expand, and lead an internal creative and content hub that not only keeps up with industry standards but sets new benchmarks. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative voice of India's leading fintech company, crafting narratives that reach a wide audience, and influencing how PhonePe is perceived and experienced.
What You'll Lead:
As our Director - Creative and Content, your responsibilities will include:
Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing a comprehensive creative and content strategy aligned with PhonePe's brand vision, business goals, and growth targets. This involves translating intricate objectives into inspiring creative briefs and actionable content plans.
End-to-End Creative Management: Overseeing the complete creative lifecycle, from concept to execution, for various impactful assets such as on-app merchandising, promotional materials, CRM communications, brand campaigns, social media content, and more.
Content Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE): Establishing and advocating for a robust content marketing function within PhonePe, including creating blog posts, articles, video content, SEO-optimized pages, product marketing materials, and educational initiatives.
Team Transformation & Mentorship: Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of creative and content professionals to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the organization.
Brand Guardianship: Ensuring consistency and excellence in PhonePe's brand messaging, tone of voice, and visual identity across all communication channels and touchpoints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Business, and Growth teams to understand objectives and deliver creative solutions that drive user engagement and business outcomes.
Innovation & Benchmarking: Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to set new benchmarks for creative excellence in the fintech and consumer tech space.
Agency Management: Effectively collaborating with external creative and content agencies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-brand output when required.
Who You Are:
A Creative Leader: With over 20 years of experience in the creative industry, you have a track record of setting new standards in traditional and digital advertising.
A Proven Leader: You have successfully built, scaled, and led creative and content teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments, preferably in consumer tech or fintech sectors.

Academic Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.
