Job Description
- Role Overview:
As a Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful deployment of projects with minimal disruptions. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating multiple teams, managing releases for various applications, facilitating Go-Live activities, and contributing to process improvements. You will need to have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with different teams involved in the software development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multiple teams to ensure timely completion of tasks according to the release schedule.
- Lead efforts to improve the release process and documentation.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases for multiple applications.
- Facilitate Go-Live activities, including deployment execution and checklist verification.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to understand release scope and address any blockers.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of agile methodologies and presentation techniques.
- Manage production deployment calls, track task progress, communicate release results, and monitor post-production issues.
- Experience with build and release management, CI/CD processes, and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, ADO Boards, Remedy, ServiceNow, JIRA, and Wiki.
- Solid understanding of Web and Mobile Applications.

Qualifications Required:
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to resolve and escalate impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery, and drive continuous improvement at the program level.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
