US Staffing Contracts & Compliance Specialist (Freelance)

One of our clients is looking for an experienced US Staffing Contracts & Compliance Specialist (Freelance) for a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and manage US staffing contracts and documentation including MSA, SOW/WO, PO, NDA, NCA, and other legal agreements used in staffing engagements.
• Support contract negotiations and revisions with clients, vendors, and consultants.
• Ensure all contracts and documentation comply with US staffing industry standards and legal requirements.
• Manage consultant onboarding documentation for different engagement models including W2, 1099, and C2C.

• Coordinate with internal teams (recruitment, finance, and operations) to ensure proper documentation and compliance processes are followed.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, agreements, and compliance documents.
• Assist in preparing vendor onboarding documents and compliance checklists.
• Review and verify supporting documents such as W9 forms, Certificate of Incorporation, Articles of Incorporation, COI, and other vendor documentation.
• Ensure accurate invoicing terms, payment terms, and contract clauses are reflected in agreements.
• Identify and mitigate potential contractual or compliance risks.

Required Skills & Experience

Get Hired
• 3+ years of experience in US staffing contracts, documentation, or compliance roles.
• Strong experience with US IT staffing agreements and documentation.
• Hands-on experience drafting and reviewing MSA, SOW/WO, PO, NDA, and NCA agreements.
• Good understanding of W2, 1099, and C2C engagement models and related compliance requirements.
• Experience with US staffing onboarding and vendor compliance processes.
• Excellent document drafting, editing, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently in a freelance/remote environment.
