Job Description

As a Capital Market Analyst Intern at PipRaisers, you will be part of a dynamic team at a research-led proprietary trading and portfolio mentorship firm. Your primary role will involve assisting in macro and micro-level investment research, multi-asset portfolio development, and sector-wise allocation strategies. This internship offers you the opportunity to gain real-time exposure to market data interpretation, trade analytics, and investment decision-making. You will work closely with experienced mentors who specialize in institutional-style trading and analysis.

Your key responsibilities will include tracking and analyzing global equity, bond, and derivative market trends, studying macroeconomic indicators and central bank policies, supporting the creation and review of diversified investment portfolios, conducting industry and company-specific research for portfolio inclusion, preparing investment rationales, backtesting models, and risk dashboards, collaborating with senior analysts to draft market outlook reports, assisting in constructing model portfolios, and tracking key performance metrics.
Ideal candidates for this position are students or graduates in Finance, Economics, Quant, or Commerce domains who are passionate about stock markets, research-driven investing, and capital allocation. You should have a solid understanding of ratios, financial modeling, and macro trends, as well as be familiar with tools like Screener, NSE/BSE, TradingView, Investing.com, and Excel. Strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn dynamic portfolio strategies are essential, and any experience in mock investing, equity research competitions, or market journaling would be a bonus.

During this internship, you will gain hands-on experience in capital markets, portfolio design, and research. You will have the opportunity for a deep dive into sector analysis, portfolio risk, and investment strategy. A stipend of up to 30,000/month will be provided based on performance, along with a Certificate and Letter of Recommendation (LOR). There is also the possibility of earning a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on your deliverables and commitment.
