Manager - Indirect Taxation

JOB OVERVIEW:
Handle Indirect Taxation related activities including tax compliance, reconciliation & liaising with stakeholders.
KEY STAKEHOLDERS:
- Internal: Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Plant sites
- External: Tax authorities, Consultants, Vendors, Customers
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Reports to Senior General Manager & Head-Indirect Taxation
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge about GST law & filing of GST returns.
- Legal proceedings and appeal management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP, Excel and software automations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a wide range of GST related compliances including reviewing of input tax credit on inward supply and liability on outward supply.
- Remain updated with developments in tax laws and provide advisory to various stakeholders on Indirect Tax implications and regulations.
- Preparing data/information for GST Annual Return, Audit Report, Assessment, Appeal and liaising with various tax consultant and authorities.
- Preparing various MIS reports / schedules related to Indirect Taxation.
- Support initiatives for streamlining and automating of indirect tax processes, including process improvement in SAP system.
