Job Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Executive at Gritstone Technologies in UL and Govt. Cyberpark, Calicut, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements, develop test plans, execute test cases, and uphold the highest standards of product quality. Your responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. You will conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure proper functionality. Additionally, you will document and track bugs, errors, and other issues in collaboration with the development team, ensuring timely resolution and the achievement of quality goals. Regular regression testing and validation of fixes in subsequent releases will be part of your routine tasks. You will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing QA documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test results. Furthermore, active participation in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives will be expected.
To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 13 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing life cycle, and defect lifecycle is essential. Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Selenium, Postman, or their equivalents is preferred. Basic understanding of SQL and API testing is considered a plus. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication capabilities are crucial. The ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team setting is highly valued.
