Staff Accountant - Revenue

PlanSource is a high-growth software company headquartered in Orlando, Florida with offices in Salt Lake City and Charleston. The Revenue Team at PlanSource is responsible for reporting revenue accurately and timely in accordance with GAAP. This requires working both individually and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment. The Staff Accountant, Revenue will be assisting in the month-end close and reports to the Manager, Revenue.
Responsibilities include

• Assisting in the month-end revenue close process, including preparing journal entries in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintaining and updating customer files, including name or address changes
• Identifying delinquent accounts and contacting customers to request payment
• Researching and resolving customer discrepancies and past-due amounts
• Creating reports regarding the status of customer accounts, as requested
• Approving sales opportunities for billing
• 
  Working cross-functionally with the Services, Sales, and other Teams across the organization
• Providing support for annual audit, including preparing supporting schedules
• Ability to analyze large sets of data.
  

As the Staff Accountant, Revenue, you will have excellent verbal and written communications, high attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Additionally, you will

• Be proficient in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems, particularly NetSuite is a big plus.
