About the Role

Were looking for a Creative Growth Strategist at the intersection of creative storytelling and performance marketing- someone who owns end-to-end strategy, from identifying high-potential content and evaluating scripts to crafting ad creatives and feeding campaign insights back into the content pipeline.

Youre not just writing scripts or running ads- youre building the playbook that decides which shows get scaled, how theyre positioned, and what creative angles will perform on Meta. Youll work closely with writers, production, and the UA/growth team to give every show its best shot at market validation.

Key Responsibilities

Script Strategy & Show Cracking

  • Evaluate show scripts for marketability- identifying narrative hooks, character archetypes, and tropes that align with performance-validated patterns
  • Develop show strategy from the ground up: define audience personas, surface emotional hooks, and map the CPI roadmap for each show
  • Review writer deliverables for narrative consistency, pacing, and cliffhanger placement- providing structured feedback where scripts need stronger ad angles
  • Own the trope playbook: continuously track which content themes are resonating across paid channels and translate findings into actionable briefs for writers and production

Creative Development for Performance Marketing

  • Script ad creatives (promos) for Meta- distilling show hooks into compelling narratives optimized for CPI, completion rate, and downstream activation
  • Conceptualize 360° campaign strategies for show launches- aligning promo scripts, visual direction, audience targeting hypotheses, and A/B test frameworks
  • Collaborate with VO artists, editors, and sound designers to supervise promo execution from script to final master, ensuring creative fidelity and performance alignment

Performance Analytics & Iteration

  • Read and interpret full-funnel campaign data- from top-of-funnel efficiency and creative engagement to retention and monetization- and translate insights into creative and content decisions
  • Identify performance gaps across the funnel- whether rooted in creative messaging, content quality, or audience fit- and lead rapid, structured iteration
  • Own bi-weekly performance reporting, sharing learnings and driving alignment across creative, production, and growth teams

AI-Driven Workflow & Innovation

  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, etc.) for script evaluation, trope analysis, creative ideation, and ad script iteration
  • Develop AI-augmented workflows for script scoring, trope-match analysis, and automated brief generation to accelerate the show-cracking pipeline
  • Stay current with AI developments in content creation and performance-creative generation, proactively identifying and integrating relevant tools into the teams workflow

What Were Looking For

  • 5–10 years in creative strategy, brand solutions, on-air promotion, promo production, or performance-creative roles
  • Background in Radio, OTT/Audio/Video Streaming, Serialized or Short-Form Content Platforms, Digital Advertising Agencies, or Performance Marketing at content-led consumer-tech companies
  • Proven ability to evaluate scripts, identify marketable hooks, and write ad/promo scripts that drive measurable outcomes
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager metrics (CPI, CPM, CPS, completion rate, ROAS) and the ability to translate data into creative decisions
  • Hands-on with AI tools for content creation, research, and workflow automation- with a track record of integrating them into creative processes
  • Strong instinct for audience-facing content tropes, narrative patterns, and audience psychology across genres
