Job Summary
The Polaris Data & Analytics Organization works with business leaders and analysts across the enterprise to drive optimized strategy using data. The Data Analyst is responsible for developing analytics products and enabling the broader organization of data-focused professionals to efficiently consume analytical solutions. You are an advocate for analytics adoption, an innovator, a creative problem solver, and a key strategic partner to the business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Day to day interaction with stakeholders to understand the business problem – prior business facing experience will be helpful for this role.
• Innovate and design analytics strategies to solve the business problems.
• Develop Analytics Products using SQL/Snowflake, Power BI, Alteryx leveraging a wide variety of source systems.
• Drive waste out of the company by automating manual non-value-add data driven processes.
• Develop visually clear and insightful reporting business teams using a variety of solutions: OneStream, Snowflake, Alteryx, and PowerBi.
• Build and publish visualizations supporting measurement of outcomes related to the analytical projects.
• Effectively foster business relationships across teams (e.g., business teams, interactive group, project management, business intelligence, etc.) and develop a good view of how the business operates so that analytical results can be framed in a business context.
  

Skills And Knowledge

• Bachelors in Computer Science or Equivalent Preferred with minimum 3 years of experience
• Strong working knowledge of systems: MS Office applications, ERPs, financial reporting and /or CPM experience desired
• Coding and development experience; knowledge of SQL, C#, Python and Java preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and
• work cross functionally with the larger organization – proficient in English.
• Able to work independently and as an active member of a team, Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
• Naturally curious problem solver with experience working in an Agile environment.
• Creative, innovative, decisive, and prone to action. Quality and customer focused.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills with minimal supervision.
• Experience with data preparation, visualization, and processing from a diverse set of data sources.

  Highly proficient with data mining/visualization/data modeling tools: SQL/Snowflake, Power BI and Business facing experience.
  

Work Conditions

• Position located in Bangalore, India. Dynamic fast-paced team environment
• Fast-paced US corporate office environment
• Shift time is 12.30PM to 9.30PM IST and should be Flexible on hours required to participate in meetings with global team.
