About the Role

The Supply Chain Planner for Electronics PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and electronic components is responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and optimization of the supply chain for electronic assemblies and components. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and delivery of materials to meet production and customer requirements within the electronics manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage the supply and inventory of PCBA and electronic components to support production schedules and customer demand

- Monitor, forecast, and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock and minimizing excess or shortages

- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, production, and logistics teams to align supply with demand and resolve material flow issues

- Manage backlog and prioritize customer orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and on-time delivery (OTD)

- Support new product introductions by coordinating supply chain activities for new assemblies and components

- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including multi-sourcing critical components and monitoring supplier performance

- Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensure correct configuration of assemblies

- Utilize ERP for planning, scheduling, and tracking materials

- Prepare and present reports on inventory, supplier performance, and key supply chain metrics to management and stakeholders

- Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with contracts

Qualifications & Skills

- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field

- 1Y+ of experience in supply chain planning, in electronics manufacturing or PCBA supply

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

- Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Experience with supplier management, sourcing, and procurement in the electronics sector is highly desirable

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

- Good command of English

Experience

- Experience with global electronics supply chains, including PCBA, semiconductors, and passive components

- Familiarity with risk management, multi-sourcing strategies, and cost optimization in electronics procurement

- Knowledge of quality management systems and supplier scorecards

- Involvement in new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability processes
