The company collected Rs 3,500 cr of insurance premiums in FY19 and is on track to double this figure in FY20. PolicyBazaar.com accounts for nearly 25% of India’s life cover and over 7% of India’s retail health business. It accounts for roughly half of all internet-based insurance purchases in the country.

We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Data Analyst with 2-4 years

of experience to join our team. If you are an initiative taker, possess analytical thinking skills, are proficient in data analysis tools, and have a proven track record of managing and extracting actionable insights from large datasets, we want to hear from you. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and make a significant impact on our organizations growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Management: Collect and consolidate large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Develop and maintain data pipelines and databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.

2. Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Utilize statistical and data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

3. Tool Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Athena, Quicksight, Python, R, etc. Stay updated on the latest industry tools and technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriate.

4. Data Visualization: Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations and dashboards. Translate complex data into easily understandable visuals for non-technical stakeholders.

5. Problem Solving: Identify business challenges and proactively propose data-driven solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies.

6. Actionable Insights: Translate data findings into actionable recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency. Monitor the impact of data-driven decisions and make adjustments as needed.

Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 2-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst.
3. Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages.
4. Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
6. Ambitious and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
7. Ability to work independently and take initiative to drive projects forward.
8. Experience with handling and analyzing large datasets.
