Job Description

Role PurposeThe Philanthropy Executive will support and drive global philanthropic donor acquisition and stewardship, working closely with the CEO to grow Pollinate Groups funding from individual donors, family foundations, and global philanthropic institutions worldwide.
This is a high-exposure execution role designed for a hands-on fundraiser who is ready to learn, deliver, and grow in international philanthropy.
Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Donor Acquisition
- Research and identify worldwide donors (HNWIs, family foundations, global philanthropists).
- Support outbound donor outreach, follow-ups, and meeting coordination.
- Build and maintain a qualified global donor pipeline aligned to Pollinates mission.
Donor Management Engagement & Stewardship
- Support ongoing donor relationships through updates, reports, and impact stories.
- Ensure donors continue to grow in contributions, feel informed, valued, and connected to Pollinates work.
- Maintain accurate donor records and engagement history.
Proposals & Fundraising Collateral
- Support donor briefs, and proposals.
- Coordinate with Programs, Finance, and Communications teams to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a reusable library of fundraising materials.
CEO & Internal Coordination
- Act as an execution partner to the CEO for philanthropy priorities.

- Prepare donor briefs, background notes, and follow-up trackers.
- Translate donor conversations into clear internal actions.
Systems, Reporting & Learning
- Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking.
- Support monthly reporting on outreach, pipeline, and funds committed.
- Continuously learn global best practices in philanthropy and donor stewardship.
- Not a strategy-only role
- Not a CSR implementation role
- Not a solo fundraising leadership role (yet)
- 34 years experience in fundraising, philanthropy, partnerships, or nonprofit business development
- Strong influential written and verbal English communication
- Comfort working across time zones
- High follow-through and organisation skills
- Alignment with womens economic empowerment and climate-resilient livelihoods
