As a Growth Finance Analyst on the Finance team, you will lead Poshmark’s strategic and financial planning function to support the rapid growth of the Company. You will enable strategic executive and Board-level as well as tactical decision making for the company through financial modeling, fact-based analyses and interpretation of key business and financial trends. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with senior management at a rapidly growing startup to drive the direction of the business.
Role And Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis to optimize the efficient use of capital to grow the company.
• Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders across the growth, marketing, data, and product teams on strategic growth projects.
• Leverage a wide range of data resources to test hypotheses and identify trends; communicate to other stakeholders key signals in the data.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly internal reporting to support management decision making.
• Improve predictability and systematization of our forecasting model using Excel, Statistical/data methods, and SQL.
• Analyze potential acquisitions using financial statement analysis, modeling, value creating and corporate finance frameworks.
• Help teams across the organization analyze the returns on capital of their various efforts.
  

6-Month Accomplishments

• Take over complete responsibility of certain strategic finance projects, partnering with the relevant stakeholders
• Independently find and deliver financial insights and forecasts in areas of business operations to drive high stakes business decisions
• Develop full insight and understanding of Poshmark’s operations, key financial trends, business drivers, KPIs and factors influencing the business
  

12+ Month Accomplishments

• Partner cross-functionally with teams within the organization to solve business problems, and develop a strong relationship with the stakeholders
• Present synthesized analysis and insights from short term and long term strategic projects to senior management
• Proactively identify and drive new initiatives/projects to increase operational efficiencies and support rapid growth
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Engineering or similar
• 2-4 years in Investment Banking, Private Equity, VC, Management Consulting and/or FP&A/Finance preferred
• An advanced understanding of corporate financial planning, modeling, reporting and analysis
• An ability to collaborate constructively with, and influence, business partners
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and has a strong business sense
• Proactive and inquisitive approach to identifying insights in financial and operating data
• Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, growing and ambiguous environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and relationship building skills
• Experience with Looker / SQL - the ability to self-serve, investigate and produce the data we require - is a plus
• Experience in or understanding of e-commerce and/or marketplace business models is a plus
