Cybersecurity Technology Trainee

This high potential team will be working in close coordination with industry leading Cybersecurity domain consultants and technology specialist in supporting them with mission-critical insights, solutioning approach and research papers.

We intend to hire candidates for the program in below areas so to groom potential candidates into the domain of Consultants and Engineers.

Cloud Engineering

Security monitoring

Cyber risk management

Consulting and analytics

Automation

B. Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MS IT (only candidates passing out in 2021-2025 are eligible)

Working knowledge of MS Office tools with a strong hand on presentation skills

Energetic, quick learner and tech savvy, inquisitive by nature and problem solver

Fluency in English language; strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines.

Essential to have familiarity with key concepts around:

Cybersecurity fundamentals

Advantage of having completed any of these IT related certifications such as:

CEH, CCNA, CCNP, OSCP, AWS/Azure or similar.

It would be an advantage to have familiarity with key concepts around the following:

oInstalling, configuring, and troubleshooting in UNIX/Linux based environments

oUnderstanding of scripting (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python etc.)

oIT networking and systems (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, servers, clients, OS, etc.)

oUnderstanding of public cloud IaaS (AWS, Azure, GCP)

oUnderstanding of virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box)

oUnderstanding of cybersecurity (e.g., SIEM, network security, endpoint security, etc.)

Given that cybersecurity is a global 24x7 industry, you will need to be open to shift-based work.

Stipend During the program, the trainee will be paid a stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month. On successful completion of the trainee program with Positka and the Degree (if any), the trainee will be eligible to be absorbed as a permanent employee for the Security Analyst role, subject to selection criteria and successful completion of our recruitment process.

This role will expose the candidates to acquire skills in monitoring, consulting, and analytics across cybersecurity domains.

We will help the candidate work on Splunk, IBM, Palo Alto or any similar platform. High performing candidates will have a career path leading to specialized roles in cybersecurity domains.
