Job Description
- Are you an experienced engineer eager to contribute significantly in the realm of simulation tool development Our client, a prominent company based in Hyderabad/Remote, India, is in search of a skilled 1D Simulation Tool Development Engineer to become a part of their vibrant team.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and refining JLR's exclusive 1D CAE simulation tools, particularly CalSim. You will be tasked with designing and managing robust, object-oriented scripts predominantly in MATLAB, and also Python, to automate analysis workflows and boost simulation capabilities. Additionally, you will be creating, validating, and correlating intricate 1D simulation models that represent physical vehicle systems and subsystems. Your role will involve contributing to system-level performance modeling of powertrain architectures, encompassing both conventional and electrified systems. Collaboration with CAE teams and cross-functional engineering teams will be essential to ensure that the tools align with current and future program requirements. Implementation of version control strategies using systems such as SVN or Git for structured tool and model development will be a part of your responsibilities. It will also be crucial to evaluate modeling fidelity and continually enhance tool accuracy and usability based on test and calibration data.
