Job Description
- As the Female Head Warden for the Girls Hostel at Burhanpur Girls Hostel, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, discipline, well-being, and overall development of the hostel residents. You will need to be a compassionate, responsible, and organized individual capable of managing hostel operations, supporting students" emotional and academic needs, and creating a secure and nurturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities (KRAs):**
- **Safety & Security Management**
- Regular monitoring to ensure the safety and security of all hostel residents.
- Implementation of security protocols, maintenance of visitor logs, and supervision of entry/exit procedures.
- Conducting regular safety drills and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- **Discipline & Code of Conduct**
- Enforcement of hostel rules and policies in a fair and consistent manner.
- Counseling students in case of conflicts or breaches of discipline.
- Conducting regular meetings with hostel residents to reinforce behavioral expectations.
- **Welfare & Well-being**
- Providing emotional support, guidance, and counseling to students.
- Monitoring health issues and coordinating with medical staff or local healthcare providers.
- **Daily Operations & Administration**
- Overseeing hostel maintenance, cleanliness, and infrastructure upkeep.
- Managing attendance records, mess schedules, and inventory of supplies.
- Preparing reports related to hostel activities, incidents, and student welfare.
- **Mentorship & Development**
- Acting as a mentor and role model for students, encouraging academic and personal growth.
- Organizing workshops, seminars, and recreational activities.
- Liaising with parents/guardians as needed and providing updates on student progress.
- **Emergency Response & Crisis Management**
- Responding to medical emergencies, emotional distress, or unforeseen incidents swiftly and appropriately.
- Maintaining emergency contact lists and ensuring readiness to handle crises.
**Required Qualifications & Experience:**
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.

- Knowledge of student welfare, adolescent psychology, and safety protocols.
- Certification in first aid or emergency response is a plus.
