About the Role

Prana Tree LLC is seeking an experienced Business Development Associate with expertise in prospecting, lead generation, and technology SaaS sales within the Life Sciences domain. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in identifying and engaging potential clients, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong relationships in the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector.

This role is work-from-office (WFO), Pune and requires immediate availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and lead generation in the Life Sciences and Healthcare SaaS industry.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring consistent engagement with key decision-makers.
  • Research and understand client needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape to tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to align business development efforts.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions and position the companys SaaS solutions to prospective clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including initial outreach, client engagement, follow-ups, and deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and interactions in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine business development strategies and enhance client acquisition efforts.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in business development, lead generation, and sales

  • Strong knowledge of Life Sciences industry trends, challenges, and technology adoption.
  • Proven track record of developing and closing high-value deals in the SaaS space.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple leads simultaneously, and meet aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Willingness to work from the office (WFO) in Pune from day one, with no exceptions.
