Job Description
- As a Logistics & Operations Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Managing inventory to ensure optimal stock levels and accurate control.
- Overseeing warehouse distribution operations, including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials handling.
- Coordinating transportation management activities, including planning and fleet management.
- Collaborating with purchasing and procurement teams to optimize sourcing and category management.
- Utilizing transportation and warehouse management systems for operational excellence.
- Analyzing data to identify trends, improve processes, and support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Leading a team of logistics professionals, providing training and development opportunities.
- Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers to ensure service quality.
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management techniques and tools.
- Experience in warehouse distribution and shipping & receiving processes.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and ERP systems.

- Excellent data analysis skills for informed decision-making.
- Understanding of freight logistics, demand planning, and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage materials handling, packaging, and order picking efficiently.
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
- Knowledge of e-commerce logistics strategies is advantageous.
Joining as a Logistics Manager, you will contribute significantly to the success of the supply chain while ensuring operational excellence in all logistics functions.
This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree and at least 6 years of experience in logistics. The work location is in person.,
