Summary

extracting data from different sources to consolidate and synthesize

experienced in/or: Tableau / Looker / Qlik / D3
creating dashboards & calculations, data visualization best practices, graphs, data modelling techniques

Key Responsibilities

Work with analytical and visualization tools, platforms, and libraries to deliver compelling visualizations to our stakeholders and engage with those stakeholders to help them gain value through effective decision making
Create wireframes and visual examples to help define visualization needs
Manipulate and extract data from many different sources to consolidate and synthesize information into imagery to: tell a story, let the information help drive understanding and actions that need to be taken to improve key business performance indicators
Implement an agile approach to Business Intelligence, including rapid prototyping, short but frequent development cycles, continuous customer feedback

Work with the wider Data Insights team of developers and data scientists to embed data visualization best practices.

Skills And Experience

A strong graphic sense and compelling use of relationships with colors and iconography to simplify visualizations into meaningful representations
Significant experience using Tableau / Looker / Qlik / D3 for the creation of dashboards and with advanced functionality such as complex calculations, table calculations, parameters, geographic mapping, and performance optimization
Familiar with Data Visualization best practices
Applied knowledge of data technologies, practices, and analytical approaches advantageous, to include relational and big data platforms, graph visualization technologies and data modelling techniques.
Excellent client interaction, problem solving & communication skills
