About The Role

• The consulting position is in the Praxis BET and FIG business units
• As a consultant / senior consultant, you assume a great deal of responsibility. You learn to manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on the clients issues and industry, and recommend solutions that make a real impact.
• Senior consultants run a workstream or a project end to end, have full ownership of the deliverables and assume leadership roles on their team- as such, your teams successes also enhance your own personal results story
• 
  Exposed to more complex client interactions, consultants play the pivotal significant role in moving clients to action
• Continuously enhance your understanding of the Middle East business landscape and collaborate with colleagues across ME and other offices on client projects and internal endeavours
• You not only provide answers to questions but detail their strategic implications. You are also encouraged to support our culture of giving back by motivating your colleagues and the firm at large to apply their talents to support a particular social cause
  

Key Responsibilities

• Is the primary responsibility of the project delivery, client impact, project success, project management, team development and training
• End to end problem-solving ownership
• Ownership of analysis (primary research included) on Excel (and other analytical tools) and be comfortable with handling data to derive meaningful insights
• Conceptualize and structure key initiatives for client’s basis their priorities
• Work collaboratively with Praxis Partners, Principals, Managers, Associate Consultants, and cross-functional consulting, data science and technology teams
• Be extremely focused on outcomes and final client answers; Be flexible to deal with ambiguous and dynamic environments, morph as required
• Ensure the quality of project deliverables, efficiently manage both functional and technical teams, and support functional aspects of the engagement, fostering strong client relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
• Manage and actively engage in the creation and presentation of proposals for business development activities
  

Desired Background

• Minimum 2-4 years of management consulting, advisory or professional services experience from management consulting firms or in industry in internal strategy roles

  Any experience in line functions (even if non-advisory roles) will be considered a plus
• Should have managed teams in prior roles
• Exposure to working in the KSA market is an added advantage
• Experience dealing with large, complex portfolios and organizations.
• Undergrad/ Graduate from a top-tier institute
• Desired Competencies:
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English. Arabic is preferable but not mandatory
• The ability and willingness to travel within the Middle East and Africa (MEA)
• Leadership skills: client impact, project management, team motivation and coaching
• Managing multiple projects/ work packages and guiding associate consultants requires a high degree of comfort in managing multiple threads going around at the same time
• Strong levels of ownership and should demonstrate pride in output
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive patterns from data / push for insights
• Resourcefulness and tactfulness in getting market inputs and client requirements
• Ability to work and influence in client settings and work collaboratively with counterparts in business partner teams to drive impact together at clients
• High focus on outcomes and must enjoy driving clients to action
• Proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
