Prefyle is building a workflow platform for the Indian IPO ecosystem, focused on making DRHP / offer-document drafting and compliance-gap review more structured and efficient.
About the roleWe are looking for a curious, proactive intern to work closely with the Business Head on Prefyles early go-to-market and business-development efforts.
This is a strong learning opportunity for someone interested in startups, B2B SaaS, business development, financial markets, IPOs, compliance, and commercial strategy.
You will not be expected to independently sell a product or make legal/compliance claims. Your role is to support research, outreach preparation, pipeline management, and customer-learning activities.
What you will do- Research merchant bankers, BRLMs, IPO advisors, and relevant legal/compliance firms
- Build and maintain a target-account and decision-maker list
- Support LinkedIn, email, and outreach research
- Help prepare meeting briefs, follow-up notes, and CRM updates
- Track customer conversations, demos, pipeline stages, and key insights
- Conduct market and competitor research
- Help prepare simple presentations, proposals, and GTM documents
- Identify relevant industry events, communities, and partnership opportunities
- Support weekly reporting and commercial planning
- Content creation for our linkedin page.
- How an early-stage B2B startup builds its GTM strategy
- How to research and approach enterprise decision-makers
- Basics of CRM, sales-pipeline management, and customer discovery
- How pricing, pilots, demos, and early customer validation work
- Exposure to the Indian IPO, merchant-banking, and compliance ecosystem
- How customer feedback is turned into product and business decisions
- Final-year students, recent graduates, or early-career candidates
- Interest in startups, business development, consulting, finance, fintech, legal-tech, or B2B SaaS
- Good research and organisation skills
- Comfortable with LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and online research
- Self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working remotely
- Familiarity with IPOs, merchant banking, or capital markets is helpful but not required
- This is a remote, learning internship for an initial three-month period.
- The role requires approximately 8-12 hours per week.
- There is no promise of employment and stipend will be performance-based
- The intern will also be required to sign confidentiality and intellectual-property documents before receiving access to any company information.
- Direct exposure to an early-stage startup and commercial decision-making
- Mentorship from the Business Head
- Practical experience in GTM, research, business development, and startup operations
- A certificate of completion and performance-based resume / LinkedIn recommendation, subject to successful completion of the internship
- Potential consideration for a paid role, subject to business needs and performance
