- Manage the full cycle of indirect tax compliance, including sales and use tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes.
- Conduct in-depth research on indirect tax laws, regulations, and rulings to provide expert advice.
- Assist in developing and implementing indirect tax planning strategies.
- Analyze client financial data to identify tax savings opportunities and potential risks.
- Prepare and review indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Support clients during tax audits, including preparing responses to information requests and negotiating settlements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and address tax-related inquiries.
- Stay updated on changes in indirect tax laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members on indirect tax matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0-1 years of experience in indirect taxation.
- Strong knowledge of indirect tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with tax preparation software and research tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of sales and use tax, VAT, and other indirect taxes.
