Job Description
- As a Node.js Developer at Primathon Technology, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhance existing functionality, and ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience.
Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js, focusing on performance and scalability. Collaborating with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to implement new features and improve existing functionality will be crucial. You will be expected to write clean, efficient code while following coding standards and best practices. Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency within the development team is also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and other challenges. Implementing security and data protection measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and optimizing applications for speed and scalability are essential tasks.
To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Node.js Developer. Proficiency in server-side JavaScript programming using Node.js is required, along with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming, including Promises and async/await. Experience with RESTful API development and integration is important, and familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) would be beneficial. Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and data modeling, as well as experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows, are also necessary. A good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, coupled with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, will help you succeed in this role.
