Job Description
- As a Technical Lead/Principal Software Engineer with expertise in legacy systems, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, project ownership, and ensuring high-quality and high-performance .NET-based applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior developers, and acting as a technical point of contact for various projects.
You will lead the design, development, and deployment of .NET applications, offering architectural guidance and conducting code reviews to uphold best practices. Analyzing existing legacy systems like Classic ASP, WinForms, and WCF will be essential to define modernization strategies. Your mentorship and support towards junior developers will contribute to their technical growth.
Taking ownership of assigned projects, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and ensuring alignment throughout the development lifecycle. Proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and blockers and communicating them effectively to stakeholders will be pivotal in ensuring timely delivery of milestones and managing scope changes with agility.
Collaboration with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other teams will be crucial to deliver cohesive solutions. Regular status meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and the preparation of technical documentation and progress reports for leadership will be part of your communication responsibilities.

You must possess 8-12 years of experience in .NET development, encompassing .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#. A strong understanding of SQL, Repositories, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS is required. Experience with frontend technologies like Angular/React is advantageous. Your excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with proven experience as a technical lead in cross-functional projects, will be key attributes for this role.
Certification in Microsoft technologies, experience in Agile/Scrum environments, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are preferred attributes. Your expertise in .NET Framework & .NET Core, ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC, SQL, C# Programming, RESTful API Development, Microservices Architecture, Cloud Platforms, CI/CD Pipelines, Performance Optimization & Security Standards, Technical Leadership & Mentoring, Project Ownership & Accountability, Stakeholder Management, Requirement Analysis & Translation, Risk Identification & Mitigation, Agile/Scrum Methodologies, Excellent Communication Skills, Documentation & Reporting, as well as familiarity with Frontend Technologies, Entity Framework Core, Docker & Kubernetes, GraphQL, and GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps Pipelines will be beneficial in excelling in this role.,
