6-12 months+
3 days/week in Florham Park NJ
Candidates MUST live in NJ I will be doing a location verification to ensure they are physically in NJ at the time I speak with the/screen them.
Experience : 10+
MUST have strong .net, heavy API s and REACT on the front end. BIG PLUS would be to have any Mainframe/Cobol modernization project experience. And be local (not willing to relocate but live in NJ within drive from Florham park-3 days/week).
Team: Insurance Services
Project: Modernization project w/ a focus on client facing APIs- highly transactional
- Team is growing, we will be adding 1-2 more .NET Devs to the team.
- Ownership mindset
- Not an easy API project, will be looking at dev and performance metrics, highly. Not something that can be thrown into copilot
70-80% back-end and 20-30% front-end:
A lot isnt modified with the UI work - they cant change a lot with OneUX compliant.
Mainframe modernization project, bonus if they have Cobol/Mainframe Development.
Looking for someone who will technically challenge others on the team - Engineering mindset.
Description:
Requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs. In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).
Skill/Experience/Education:
Mandatory:
10+ years relevant client experience in similar technology (does not include training period), Including at least 5 years of on-site client experience in similar technology and domain - Min Education - Bachelors degree in technology, Masters preferred
