As Payroll Accounting Specialist, APAC Region at PwC, you will support the accuracy and integrity of payroll bookkeeping, compliant with multiple jurisdictions and statutory requirements. You will play a crucial role in making sure employees are paid correctly and on time, contributing to the overall financial well-being of the organization and supporting employee satisfaction.

- Use general ledger, payroll records, and payroll service provider responses to triage, investigate, and resolve questions related to payroll accounting
- Understand applicable US GAAP accounting principles and standards and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements for payroll operations
- Follow all applicable client and regulatory requirements for data protection and compliance
- Support identification, design, and execution of continuous improvement activities

Job Requirements and Preferences:
Minimum Degree Required (BQ): Bachelor Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2 year(s)
Required Knowledge/Skills (BQ): Payroll Accounting; oral and written proficiency in English required
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP, S4Hana, and Blackline; experience using Microsoft suite of Office applications, fluency in one or more APAC region languages
