Senior Accountant

Role Overview
Join our dynamic finance team as a Senior Accountant, where your expertise will be pivotal in supporting robust accounting processes. As part of our team in UAE - Dubai, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of critical financial operations, with a particular emphasis on Accounts Payable, VAT, and reporting.
Responsibilities

• Process and book invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage vendor payments and perform comprehensive reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with internal and regulatory policies
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with the UAE VAT Tax system
• Utilize QuickBooks efficiently for daily, weekly, and monthly accounting activities
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with internal and external audits as required
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to best practices within the team
  
  
  

Must have requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant, with a focus on Accounts Payable (invoice booking, vendor payments, reconciliations)
• Advanced proficiency in using QuickBooks
• Thorough understanding of the UAE VAT Tax system
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Ability to ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations
  

Nice to have requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent)
