Role Overview Sr. Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Leader for Insurance Services to drive enterprise consultative services growth across the insurance sector leveraging Qualtech Edges deep engineering and transformation capabilities to deliver outcomes that matter to insurers.
This is an individual contributor role with high visibility, intended for exceptional sales professionals ready to grow into insurance practice leadership, business head, or CXO track roles.
Key Responsibilities
1. Services-Led Business Development & Growth
- Identify, qualify and close high-value services deals with life, general, and health insurance companies.

- Drive end-to-end consultative sales cycles from insight-led discovery and solutioning to negotiation and closure.

- Champion Qualtech Edges services portfolio: experience engineering, data engineering, infra/cloud engineering, enterprise integration, and AI-driven transformation services.

- Collaborate with insurance prospect stakeholders to define business challenges and propose tailored transformation roadmaps.
2. Strategic Account Leadership & Expansion
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with CXOs, CIOs, CTOs

, and business heads in insurance firms.

- Drive multi-year professional services and transformation engagements focused on legacy modernization, product expansions, data transformation, cloud, and digital experience solutions.

- Identify and convert cross-sell opportunities between consulting, implementation, managed services, and support across insurance accounts.
3. Solutioning & Go-to-Market Influence
- Partner with delivery, product, and engineering teams to shape solutions and competitive positioning.

- Lead RFI/RFP responses, executive presentations, and board-level proposals.

- Translate insurer needs into compelling business cases that demonstrate measurable ROI and transformation value.
4. Market Intelligence & Positioning
- Track insurance industry trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging technologies (e.g., GenAI, cloud).

- Use insights to refine value propositions, pricing strategies, and go-to-market motions.

- Provide feedback to shape service offerings and packaging tailored to insurance use cases.
5. Sales Excellence & Forecasting
- Consistently exceed revenue, services pipeline, and margin targets.

- Maintain robust CRM discipline, accurate forecasting, and opportunity hygiene.

- Mentor pre-sales and bid teams on insurance domain credibility and messaging.
Candidate Profile
- 6-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, focused on IT/consulting services with significant exposure to

- Proven track-record in selling digital transformation, engineering, cloud, data, or managed services to large insurers.

- Strong understanding of insurance value chains (policy admin, claims, underwriting, distribution, agency systems) and tech landscape.

- Skilled at C-suite engagement, enterprise contracts, and complex deal negotiations.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal leadership abilities.

- Self-driven, entrepreneurial, with a consulting problem-solver mindset.

- Graduate degree required; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
