ITGC Compliance Expert

We are seeking a highly accomplished Certified ITGC Compliance Expert for a part-time contract opportunity. This role is perfect for experienced professionals looking to take on freelance work

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), specifically with hands-on experience in IT SOX audits and information security frameworks. You will support our clients with IT audit program development, risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance solutions for global organizations across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute ITGC (IT General Controls) audits and compliance reviews.
• Lead and support IT SOX compliance initiatives.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify gaps, and recommend remediation strategies.

• Develop and implement IT governance and security frameworks.
• Provide expertise on regulatory standards like PCI-DSS, BCP/DRP, and ISO 27001.
• Work closely with client stakeholders across IT, Risk, and Audit teams.
• Prepare documentation, audit reports, and compliance checklists.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in IT risk management and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in GRC, Risk, and Compliance.

  PCI, CISA, CISSP, and CBCP
• Proven experience with IT SOX audits and security frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk frameworks (COBIT, NIST), and industry regulations.

• Experience working with global clients in varied industries is a plus.
