About the job:

Queens Business School (QBS) at Queens University Belfast (QUB) is currently seeking to appoint one or more exceptional candidates to the post of Lecturer in Finance / Financial Analytics. Successful candidates will be based in India at QUBs GIFT City Campus - https://www.qub.ac.uk/india/ - and will have the opportunity to shape and strengthen the future direction of QBS and the GIFT City Campus from both a research and teaching perspective. Our supportive research environment enables attendance at international conferences, facilitates the pursuit of high-quality publications and fosters meaningful engagement with non-academic stakeholders. The appointed candidates will get the opportunity to interact and work with colleagues whose research is internationally renowned for excellence and societal impact.

About the person:

Successful candidates application should clearly demonstrate:

• A completed PhD (or very close to completion in Finance / Financial Analytics or cognate disciplines.
• An established programme of research activity and dissemination of original, high-quality research in Finance / Financial Analytics in line with accepted norms for a Lecturer.
• A sustained track record of high-quality peer reviewed Finance / Financial Analytics publications as appropriate to norms for a Lecturer.
• Evidence of the ability and willingness to teach modules at university level in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Financial Data Analytics, Trading, Banking, Financial Modelling, Derivatives, International Finance, FinTech.
• Demonstrable ability to advance the teaching and research goals of QBS.
