IT Intern

Job description / Role

JOB SUMMARY:
As an IT Intern, you will assist with system maintenance, troubleshooting, and IT support. You will help configure devices, monitor networks, and contribute to IT projects, gaining practical experience in technical support and infrastructure management.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support for daily IT operations and system maintenance.
- Assist with setting up and configuring hardware and software.
- Help maintain and monitor network systems and security.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users.
- Document IT processes, issues, and solutions.
- Assist in system backups and data recovery.
- Support IT team with projects and upgrades.
- Provide user training and technical support.
- Stay updated on new IT trends and technologies.

Requirements:

- Must possess a valid UAE residence visa.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, software, and networking
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and basic IT tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively provide technical support and create clear documentation.
- Ability to assist in system maintenance, troubleshooting, and IT operations.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and security practices.
- Eagerness to stay updated on IT trends and emerging technologies.

REPORTING AND DIMENSION:
- Position reports to IT Manager.

Salary:
AED 1,500 to 2,400 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
