Associate Vice President - Business Intelligence - BFSI/NBFC Domain

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for leading the Business Intelligence (BI) team in delivering data-driven insights to drive business growth and improvement.
Also, will be responsible for developing and implementing BI strategies, leading a team of BI professionals, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address business needs.
Key Responsibilities/Functional Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy to meet business needs, including data warehousing, reporting, and analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address business needs, and to develop and implement BI solutions.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights to business stakeholders.

- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, and to inform business decisions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to improve the BI function.
- Manage budgets and resources for the BI team and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Job Requirements/Qualifications: Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
Functional Competencies
- Strong technical skills in BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Certification in Business Intelligence or data analytics, such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Business Intelligence Analyst (CBIA), is desirable.
- Experience with cloud-based BI tools, such as Amazon QuickSight or Google Data Studio, is desirable.
Behavioral Competencies
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence, and the ability to apply these technologies to improve the BI function, is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
