Certified Radiology Coder

We are looking for highly skilled Certified Radiology Coders (US Healthcare Market) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in coding diagnostic and interventional radiology services, with a deep understanding of US healthcare coding guidelines, payer policies, and compliance standards. This role is critical in ensuring accurate claim submission, maximizing reimbursement, and reducing denials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for radiology services, including diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
• Review physician documentation for completeness and compliance, ensuring coding accuracy in line with AAPC/AHIMA guidelines.
• Stay updated on current coding rules, payer-specific guidelines, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians, billers, and compliance teams to resolve coding discrepancies.
• Audit coded charts periodically to identify trends, errors, and areas for improvement.

• Support denial management teams by providing coding clarification and corrections as needed.
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and organizational policies regarding patient data.

Qualifications

• Certification required: CPC, COC, CIRCC, RCC, or equivalent (AAPC or AHIMA recognized).
• Minimum 2-3 years of radiology coding experience (diagnostic and interventional).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and radiology-specific coding guidelines
