Medical Superintendent

We are seeking a senior and experienced Medical Superintendent to oversee the overall functioning of our Medical College & Teaching Hospital. The role involves hospital administration, clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and coordination between academic and clinical departments, ensuring smooth and efficient hospital operations as per NMC and statutory norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall administration and supervision of hospital operations
• Ensure quality patient care, safety standards, and ethical medical practices
• Coordinate with HODs of all clinical and para-clinical departments
• Monitor OPD, IPD, ICU, OT, Emergency & support services

• Ensure compliance with NMC, NABH, State & Central regulatory requirements
• Handle inspections, audits, accreditations, and statutory documentation
• Implement hospital policies, SOPs, and quality improvement initiatives
• Oversee duty rosters, discipline, grievance handling, and staff coordination
• Liaison with management, government authorities, and external agencies

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: MBBS (MD/MS preferred)

• Experience: 10-15 years of clinical & hospital administration experience
• Prior experience in Medical College / Teaching Hospital preferred
• Exposure to NMC / NABH / regulatory inspections mandatory
