Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and experiencedHead of Research and Development (R&D) for Adhesive Productsto lead our R&D team. This role is responsible for driving innovation, formulating new adhesive products, improving existing formulations, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in polymer chemistry, adhesive technologies, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the R&D team in the development of new adhesive products, ensuring innovation and alignment with market needs.
• Improve and optimize existing adhesive formulations for enhanced performance, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Conduct research on raw materials, polymer blends, and advanced adhesive technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to bring new products to market.
• 
  Oversee testing, validation, and quality control processes for adhesive products.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Manage R&D budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Establish and maintain relationships with raw material suppliers, research institutions, and industry partners.
• Lead troubleshooting and technical support for internal teams and customers regarding product applications and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters or Ph.D. inChemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ yearsof experience in R&D, with at least3 years in a leadership rolewithin the adhesive or polymer industry.
• Strong knowledge of adhesive chemistries, including water-based, solvent-based, hot-melt, pressure-sensitive, and reactive adhesives.
• Proven track record of developing and commercializing adhesive products.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as REACH, RoHS, and FDA compliance for adhesives.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
