Job Description
- Role Overview:
Rakuten Symphony is reimagining telecom and disrupting industry norms to foster rapid innovation and growth. With operations in multiple countries, we are seeking top talent to join our team and contribute to building the future of mobile telecommunications globally.
Responsibilities:
- Design, validate, implement, and support IP Transport Network technologies
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop solutions for the next-generation IPv6 transport network
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, MP-BGP, MPLS, SR, etc.
- Optimize network performance, ensure high availability, and integrate seamlessly with other systems
- Troubleshoot network issues with SoC & TAC teams
- Hands-on experience with ASR, NCS, and Nexus devices
Qualification Required:
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols, network architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wireshark
- Expertise in routing protocols like MP-BGP, ISIS, OSPF, as well as IPv6, SRv6, MPLS, EVNP, QoS
- Certification in routing (CCNP, CCIE-ENT/SP/JNCIE-SP etc.) is a plus

- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Bachelor's or Master's in CSE/ECE
- 8+ years of experience in the Networking Industry or large-scale Enterprise networks
