Rapido - Regional Manager - Last Mile Operations

Role Overview:
- The Regional Manager for Last Mile Operations will oversee the end-to-end execution of logistics and fleet performance within their assigned territory. This role involves managing a high-performing team of area managers and ground operations staff to ensure service reliability, captain availability, and operational efficiency.

- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and central operations, to translate business strategies into actionable ground-level plans. By driving performance metrics and optimizing delivery networks, you will directly influence the company's market share and the overall experience for both our captains and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a regional team to ensure adherence to operational KPIs, including serviceability, turnaround time, and cost-efficiency.
- Analyze regional performance data to identify bottlenecks in the supply chain and implement data-backed solutions to improve operational throughput.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across the region to ensure seamless execution of last-mile logistics and fleet onboarding processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining ground processes and implementing best practices to enhance captain productivity.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust operational strategies proactively, ensuring the region remains competitive and profitable.
- Oversee resource allocation and budget management to ensure optimal utilization of assets and manpower across all operational hubs.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale operations and cross-functional teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights and strategic decisions.
- Proven track record in solving complex operational problems and navigating ambiguity to achieve business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders and leading diverse teams effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics management and last-mile delivery frameworks, with a deep understanding of urban mobility challenges.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Educational background from a premier institute is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in management or engineering principles.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, field-intensive environment across locations including Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR.
