Job Description
JOB PURPOSE:
Drive RAKEZs long-term strategic growth and impact of the economic zone on the emirate by developing, executing, and championing transformative strategies. Be the architect of a thriving future, unlocking 10x potential, fostering unwavering commitment, and securing alignment across every level.
CORE RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Develop a comprehensive, data-driven 5-year strategic roadmap for RAKEZ, fostering sustained growth and tangible impact.
- Break down the 5-year strategic plan into actionable, strategic plans for specific departments (e.g., Office, Retail, Business Development) and initiatives (e.g., economic zone office presence models).
- Champion RAKEZs presence in wider emirate-level initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and maximizing synergies with the overall vision.
- Navigate RAKEZs journey by harmonizing company strategy with the broader vision and mission of the Ras Al Khaimah Emirate.
- Identify and unlock transformative opportunities with 10x impact potential, including ventures into new business models, M&A endeavours, and disruptive technologies.
- Drive long-term planning and resource allocation, ensuring optimal alignment with strategic priorities and proactive risk mitigation.
- Foster seamless organizational alignment, propelling unified action across all levels of RAKEZ.
- Build and leverage key relationships within RAKEZ and across government bodies, securing strategic buy-in and collaborative execution.
- Spearhead a culture of innovation within RAKEZ, nurturing creativity and encouraging the pursuit of disruptive ideas.
- Support other functions in developing and implementing effective strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and maximize efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Masters degree in business accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in management consulting, strategy or similar field.

- Fluent in English (Arabic is preferred).
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal negotiation skills.
- Capacity to conceptualize as well as operationalize strategies.
- Ability to supervise and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented, efficient and organized.
- Excellent knowledge of advanced MS Office.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
