Job Description
Key Purpose of the Job:
The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the organisations end-to-end financial accounting, reporting, and compliance functions, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory and accounting standards. The role supports strategic decision-making by providing reliable financial insights to senior management, the Board, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and strategicoversight of corporate accounting and financial reporting functions.
- Own and manage the ERP environment, ensuring robust controls, process optimisation, and data integrity.
- Lead preparation and presentation of financial reports and decks for senior leadership, Audit Committee, and Board.
- Ensure full compliance with Schedule III of the Companies Act and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Review and approve Notes to Accounts, disclosures, and financial statements.
- Lead the end-to-end finalisation of standalone and consolidated financials.
- Independently manage statutory audits for a listed entity, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors and regulators.
- Ensure consistent application and interpretation of Ind AS / IFRS, including assessment of new standards and their impact.
- Oversee capital investment evaluations, including ROI, IRR, and payback analysis, and present recommendations to leadership.
- Drive the annual budgeting process, forecasts, and long-range financial planning.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly closures, ensuring timely and accurate MIS reporting to management.

- Ensure governance and compliance for Related Party Transactions, including approvals, documentation, and disclosures.
- Coordinate preparation of financial information and data packs for Boardand Committee meetings.
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs; support internal audits and risk management initiatives.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, ensuring high performance and succession readiness.
Educational Qualification / Experience Desired:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 10 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, preferably in a listed company environment.
- Prior experience interacting with the Board, Audit Committee, and external auditors.
