Job Title: Hospital Receptionist (Male & Female)
Department: Front Office / OPD

1. Job Summary
We are looking for well-trained, professional, and confident Hospital Receptionists (Male & Female) with excellent communication skills. The candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring smooth operations at the hospital front desk.
2. Key Role & Responsibilities
Patient Handling
- Greet patients, attendants, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism.
- Handle patient registration, appointments, and token/queue management.
- Assist patients with OPD, IPD, Billing, Diagnostics, and Emergency departments.
- Provide clear information about doctors availability, timings, and procedures.
Front Desk Management
- Manage incoming calls: enquiries, appointment scheduling, follow-ups.
- Guide patients to the appropriate department or counter.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area.
doctors' - Ensure all signboards, information displays, and schedules are updated.
Data Entry & System Work
- Enter patient details accurately into the hospital management software.
- Update patient records, appointment status, and follow-up schedules.
- Coordinate with billing, pharmacy, lab, radiology, and nursing departments.
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate professionally with doctors, nursing staff, and hospital teams.
- Handle patient issues, complaints, and escalate concerns if necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information as per hospital policy.
Financial & Billing Support
- Assist the billing desk in collecting payments when required.
- Generate receipts, provide information regarding charges, and basic billing queries.
3. Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills (Hindi & basic English preferred).
- Good computer knowledge: MS Office, Email, Hospital Management System.
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Pleasant personality, polite behavior, and patient-friendly approach.
- Ability to handle heavy rush and stressful situations calmly.
4. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Male or Female candidates may apply.
- 13 years of experience in hospital front desk/reception (freshers with good communication can also be considered).

- Well-trained, professional, and presentable.
- Good typing speed and data-entry accuracy.
- Ready to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and emergency situations.
5. Education Qualification
- Minimum: 12th Pass
- Preferred: Graduate (Any stream)
- Additional certification in Front Office / Hospital Administration / Computer Applications is a plus.
6. Work Environment
- Fast-paced, patient-centric hospital environment.
- Coordination with multiple departments: OPD, Billing, Lab, Radiology, Emergency, Pharmacy.
