What role you will play in team: Lead and mentor a team of underwriters, ensuring efficient and accurate risk assessment.

What you will do: Assess complex insurance applications, manage a portfolio of risks, and guide junior underwriters.

Key responsibility:

• Assess and underwrite complex insurance applications, evaluating risks and setting premiums.
• Manage a portfolio of insurance risks, monitoring performance and adjusting strategies.
• Guide and mentor junior underwriters, providing training and support.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• 
  Contribute to the development of underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of underwriting activities.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in underwriting, preferably in general insurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership, mentoring and communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of insurance regulations and compliance.
• Experience with underwriting software and systems.
