Senior Underwriter (Commercial Lines)

What role you will play in team: Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance applications, assessing risk and determining appropriate coverage.

What you will do: Review applications, analyze financial statements, and conduct risk assessments to determine insurability.

Key responsibility:

• Underwrite commercial insurance applications (e.g., property, liability, etc.).
• Analyze financial statements, industry reports, and other data to assess risk.
• Conduct site visits and inspections when necessary.
• Determine appropriate coverage and pricing for commercial risks.
  
• Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers and clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Significant experience in commercial underwriting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of commercial insurance lines and regulatory requirements.
