Job Purpose:
The Head Technical (AVP) - Operations will be responsible for overseeing and driving the technical aspects of plant operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, productivity, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role demands strong technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams for smooth and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise technical operations across the [plant/operations unit].
2. Capacity Enhancement. Ensure smooth functioning of equipment, machinery, and processes to achieve production targets.

3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost optimization.
4. Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs, technical standards, and preventive maintenance programs.
5. Plant reliability. Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and safety teams for seamless coordination.
6. Monitor and analyse technical KPIs to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
7. Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety norms.
8. Technology Development. Guide modernization, automation, and digitization initiatives for operational excellence.
9. System improvement for sustainability. Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting of major technical issues.
10. Project Planning & Project commissioning.
11. Material Balancing.
12. Mentor and develop the technical team to build strong leadership pipelines.
