RenderNet is building the next generation of AI powered story telling tools which turbo charges the productivity for creatives across industries.

What youll do

• As we look to scale our product and the platform, you will play key role building it.
• You will work on the backend stack and closely work with the product, platform and the ML teams
• You will be responsible maintaining, building and optimising our public and private APIs
• Work with and contribute to open source software repositories where required
• You will write at lot:
• RFCs, specs, documentation
• Test cases
• Code

What must you have:

• Our hiring process is language/framework agnostic. However, experience with writing object-oriented programming (OOP) abstractions in languages such as Python, C++, Rust, or Go would be beneficial.
• Have at least 5 years in building, deploying maintaining a large scale system/platform
• TDD experience preferred.

Required Skillsets

• Should be able write detailed engineering specifications that drive clarity and alignment. In general, we expect you to be extremely comfortable writing a lot and express yourself in your writing.
• Should be able to design and build robust software abstractions that translate to scalability and maintainability and testability.
• Proficiency in developing high-performance asynchronous code, ensuring responsiveness and efficiency.
• In-depth understanding of media formats (image, video, audio), including:
• Processing techniques,
• Performance optimisation, and
• Format-specific challenges (highly desirable).
• Strong grasp of Authentication and Authorisation systems, including:
• Knowledge and working of complex auth workflows,
• Hands-on experience rolling out and managing custom Auth/Authorisation solutions.

• Familiarity with public API infrastructure:
• Prior experience in building, maintaining, and scaling public APIs is a significant advantage.
