Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of HR compliance frameworks and the ability to implement and monitor processes that mitigate compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with local, state, and national labor laws, including POSH, minimum wages, ESI, PF, and other statutory requirements.

o Keep the organization updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and advise on necessary policy updates.

2. Policy Development & Implementation:

o Draft, implement, and review HR policies to ensure alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices.

o Monitor adherence to company policies and recommend improvements as needed.

3. Audits & Reporting:

o Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

o Prepare and submit required statutory reports and returns on time.

4. Employee Relations:

o Address employee concerns regarding compliance issues and provide guidance.

o Conduct investigations into reported compliance violations and ensure appropriate actions are taken.

5. Training & Awareness:

o Organize compliance training sessions for employees and managers to ensure awareness of labor laws and internal policies.

o Develop resources to educate employees on compliance topics.

6. Vendor/Contractor Compliance:

o Ensure third-party contractors and vendors comply with statutory labor requirements.

o Monitor and manage agreements to avoid compliance risks.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
