Immediate Hiring - Mutual Fund Relationship Manager
  • Job Requirement - Graduate with 6 months of BPO Experience and good communication skill

Job Summary:

A Mutual Fund Relationship Manager – Inbound Calls is a client-facing role responsible for handling incoming customer inquiries related to mutual fund products and services. This role is primarily focused on managing and nurturing customer relationships through telephonic conversations, providing accurate information, resolving queries, and promoting suitable investment solutions.


The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, a good understanding of mutual fund products, and a customer-centric approach. This role is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about financial services, enjoy helping clients, and can work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Communication – Inbound Calls

  • Handle inbound customer calls related to mutual fund products, investment queries, NAV updates, transaction processes, and account servicing.



  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information on schemes, risk factors, returns, fund types (equity, debt, hybrid, etc.).



  • Resolve client concerns efficiently or escalate complex issues to the appropriate department.



2. Relationship Management

  • Build rapport with existing investors to enhance trust and promote long-term engagement.



  • Assist clients in understanding their investment goals and suggest mutual fund options aligned with their risk profile.



  • Promote additional services such as SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans), STPs, SWPs, and portfolio reviews.



3. Product Knowledge and Guidance

  • Stay updated on the latest mutual fund schemes, industry developments, and regulatory guidelines (SEBI, AMFI).



  • Educate customers on market trends, fund performance, taxation (capital gains, 80C benefits), and diversification strategies.



  • Provide non-biased guidance while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.



4. Operational Support

  • Assist customers with digital platforms – app/web-based account access, online transactions, KYC updates, and statement requests.



  • Guide clients through form-filling, redemption processes, and service-related requests.



  • Ensure end-to-end resolution of customer issues, coordinating with operations, RTA, and support teams if needed.



5. Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements while communicating with clients.



  • Maintain records of calls, interactions, customer feedback, and follow-up actions using CRM tools.



  • Report any suspicious or unusual investor behavior in line with anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.



6. Cross-Selling and Upselling (Soft Pitch)

  • Identify opportunities to inform clients about additional products such as retirement plans, child education funds, or tax-saving options.

    Share details about new fund launches, NFOs (New Fund Offers), or portfolio diversification strategies when relevant to the caller’s needs.



7. Team Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with team leads, sales, back-office, and compliance departments for seamless service delivery.



  • Participate in training sessions, product briefings, and customer service workshops.



  • Maintain and share daily call logs, customer issues, and resolutions for performance tracking.
